Dr. Garg is a consultant psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of experience in psychiatry. He worked in the UK for 10 years prior to moving to Australia in 2015.
Dr. Garg currently works as a Clinical Lead for innovative Mood Disorder Service at the Gold Coast University Hospital in addition to private work at Serene Health, Gold Coast Private Specialist Suites – Hope Island.
He has expertise in treating complex and refractory mood disorders and skills in using new and emerging techniques – for example repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(rTMS) and transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (t- DCS).
